Katie Yeakle

Katie Yeakle is a professional writer, and has been working in the industry for more than 20 years.  She graduated in 1994 from the University of Florida.  For the next three years Katie would work a number of different publishing related jobs.  Including stints as a content writer, copyright, copy editor, lead editor and even as a publisher.   That's when Katie Yeakle realized how difficult finding consistent work as a freelance writer can be.  Which led her to co-found American Writers & Artists Inc.  She now serves as Executive Director, and the agency is all about providing a resource for freelance writers to find work, and make their resumes available.   Katie Yeakle has personally designed more than 100 programs, all designed to help writers and graphic artists turn their passions into full fledged careers.
